 The Maha Lakshmi Satsang was officially formed on the eve of Diwali 1982 and thus its name Maha Lakshmi Satsang. Its formation was initiated by a group of dedicated Hindus living in South East London who saw the need to promote and uplift Hinduism in the United Kingdom. Hinduism dates back to many centuries and without doubt is the oldest religion in the world; it has stood the changes of time and will continue to do so, it is also known as SANATAN DHARMA, the Eternal and Universal Religion.
